First Day BJJ Team Convention Pound For Pound / Carlson Gracie (FFION DAVIES SEMINAR)

 

First day of the convention in munich organized by Professor and European and World muti champion Sergio Canudo Zimmermann in Munich, Germany. The first seminar will be held at 20: 00 with the fabulous Ffion Davies, recent ADCC 2022 and 2018-2019 IBJJF World No-Gi Champion, European Champion, Pan Am Champion. We had to leave Casa De Luta Saarbrücken at 12:00 a.m. in order to arrive on time to the hotel where we would be staying close to where the convention would take place. Six exhausting hours of road travel where we would have several traffic jams due to accidents or maintenance works. Once we arrived in Munich, we unloaded our bags at the hotel and put on our Gis and headed to the place where the seminar was taking place. Once we arrived there, we were surprised with the amount of people arriving from different parts of Europe. Carlson Gracie Jr. was there, where he was involved at all times during each of the seminars. Ffion Davies was humble and often shy due to the reception, where she was congratulated and praised for her performance at the ADCC. Two hours of super interesting seminar, where Ffion showed her game top by top, with different guard passages, controls and submissions. A very technical and detailed game, often reminding me of the Mendes brothers.

 

After the seminar we each had the opportunity to take pictures with Ffion Davies, and to enjoy an Open Mat full of Jiujiteiros of all levels, from the most experienced black belts to newcomers to the art.
