Judo For NoGi Seminar with Julia Scardone at Casa de Luta Saarbrücken
Last Friday, our girls from Casa de Luta Saarbrücken had the opportunity to attend the seminar offered by Julia Scardone, black belt in Judo, professional grappler, and Women's Only coach at Carlson Gracie Hull. Ju Scardone, is an active fighter with great competitive experience, she was initiated in Judo at a very young age, 5 years old. Black Belt in Judo and ex member of Team Great Britain as well as being a BJJ Blue Belt.
The seminar was held in two parts, the first part Judo and Wrestling, the second part guard passes, control and submission. Two hours of seminar full of multiple details, where Ju transmitted each of the techniques with an unmatched passion and energy, in addition to using a simplicity of teaching, so that any participant, could leave there with a repertoire of new techniques in a short period of time. To end the seminar, an Open Mat was held where all the attendees had the opportunity to roll with Ju Scardone. A highly recommended seminar for any academy interested in improving their Jiu Jitsu.
