BJJ Old School Saarbrücken reunited at Casa de Luta Saarbrücken
Today I had the opportunity to reunite with the old school, with a small part of those with whom I continued my journey in Jiu Jitsu as a blue belt, back in 2015, at the Carlson Gracie Germany. Leaving my homeland was not an easy decision, a lot of pain and sadness when one is forced to do it to survive leaving everything behind, family, friends.... Sadness, loneliness, longing, is a day to day during the first months, but I can say that thanks to Jiu Jitsu, I felt welcomed, supported and helped by a group of excellent people. Not before, of course, showing my hard work, perseverance, dedication, effort and respect. All this helped me a lot in my integration into the team and in gaining friendships that are still with me today.
Many years have passed, and dreams that seemed impossible have been fulfilled, as with the creation of Casa de Luta Saarbrücken, something that would not have been possible without the help, motivation, thrust and credibility of all those who believed in me. Here is a picture with some of them:
Katrin Welker, Deger, Thorstein, Roman Kapranov, Arthur Glöckler, Yanick Hippchen, Marvin, Leo Schuchat, Aleksey
Each one of them have played a very important role in my life and evolution in my Jiu Jitsu, besides helping me in the teaching today of every new student belonging to Casa de luta Saarbrücken. I feel honored to have such experienced fighters next to me, such a team, such a family. Fighters like Roman Kapranov, whom I consider my BJJ Professor, someone with whom I have learned and been practically demolished on the mats since my beginnings, who has seen me grow as a person and as a Jiu Jitsu practitioner, and whom I thank today for his strict training. I can say that today I am who I am thanks to their friendship and Jiu Jitsu. Love you guys!
