From the Mat to the Stage: Casa de Luta’s Epic Night with Billy Graziadei of Biohazard

Rolling with Billy Graziadei from Biohazard & an Unforgettable Night on Stage🤘🏻🥋

Yesterday was one of those days that remind me why I love this journey. Jiu-Jitsu and hardcore music have always been intertwined for me—both demand heart, resilience, and the willingness to push beyond limits. And when those worlds collide? Magic happens.

I had the honor of training with Billy Graziadei, a 2nd-degree black belt in Jiu-Jitsu and, of course, the legendary guitarist and vocalist of Biohazard. The guy is not just a beast on stage—his grappling is sharp, technical, and relentless. We went hard on the mats, exchanging sweeps, submissions, and pressure, all while sharing the unspoken respect that Jiu-Jitsu builds between warriors. You can tell immediately when someone has put in the years, and Billy’s game speaks for itself.

After the session, as if training together wasn’t already an unforgettable experience, Billy and the band extended an invite that blew my mind—I was asked to watch their concert from the stage. Standing up there, feeling the raw energy of the crowd, hearing every riff, every scream from a perspective few ever get to experience… it was unreal. The pit was a sea of chaos, just like a hard round of sparring—controlled aggression, adrenaline pumping, and everyone pushing each other to their limits.

Jiu-Jitsu and hardcore are built on the same foundation: community, discipline, and passion. Whether you’re rolling on the mats or throwing down in the pit, it’s about giving your all and lifting each other up. Moments like this remind me why I’m proud to represent my team, Casa de Luta, and why this lifestyle is more than just a sport or music—it’s a way of life.

I’m beyond grateful for this experience, for the people Jiu-Jitsu continues to bring into my life, and for moments like these that remind me why we do what we do. Thank you Billy, for your generosity, your humility, and for inspiring both on and off the mats. This one stays with me forever. Oss!
