Lucas Gugnon is a prominent figure at Casa De Luta Saarbrücken, known for his expertise in both Judo and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ). As a black belt in Judo and a Brown belt under head coach Abel Simon, Lucas brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the academy.

Roles and Contributions:

 Instructor: Lucas leads the Judo for No-Gi program at Casa De Luta, focusing on adapting traditional Judo techniques for no-gi grappling scenarios. His classes emphasize effective grips, throws, and transitions suitable for no-gi competitions.

Competitor: Lucas has an impressive competition record. Notably, during his debut grappling competition, he faced seasoned BJJ black belt Maarten Bauwens, who had an undefeated streak of 39 wins. Demonstrating exceptional skill, Lucas secured victory by executing a powerful guillotine choke, rendering his opponent unconscious. 

Mentor: Beyond his instructional duties, Lucas actively participates in rigorous training sessions and open mats, both within Casa De Luta and at external events. His commitment to continuous improvement and knowledge sharing significantly enhances the training environment for all members.
