Second Day Owen Livesey Seminar at Casa de Luta Saarbrücken

 

Second day of seminar with Judo and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu black belt Owen Livesey. On this second day we started by going over the sequences we had learned on the previous day, and from there connecting with new ones as arm drags, 2 on 1's, fireman's carry, double under passing, over under and half guard. 

All in a simple and detailed, with Owen attending to each and every one of the attendees, no matter how much time he had to invest in them. His excellence in teaching is matched by his excellence as a fighter. Movements of such simplicity and functionality for all, that he hits the mat during teaching, training and wrestling without any problems whatsoever. 

We hit another two hours of technique to move on to the Open Mat, where Owen would roll with each of the attendees as if he were one of us. An unforgettable experience, an unbeatable satisfaction, and a friendship that between days living with him, I think we will keep for a long time if not forever. 

In Casa de Luta he has a new family, and we assure to be here for whatever he needs. In short, I would like to make a trip to Carlson Gracie Hull and spend some time there training, and if possible help him prepare for his next fights.
