Nick Diaz: "I'm a much more dangerous fighter than when I fought Lawler the first time"

After more than six years without fighting, the American returns to the octagon on the 25th for a second meeting with Robbie Lawler at UFC 266, in Las Vegas.

More than six years after his last fight, anticipation is high for Nick Diaz's return to the octagon. He has a rematch with Robbie Lawler scheduled for the 25th, in Las Vegas, at UFC 266. From the outside, we can already see that he continues with the same confidence as always.

The Ultimate released an excerpt from "UFC Countdown," in which Diaz makes brief comments about how he has been preparing for his second meeting with Lawler. He won his first fight with a second-round knockout at UFC 47 in April 2004.

- I'm actually a much more dangerous fighter than when I first fought Robbie Lawler. I'm going to be really unstoppable after I make the right decisions. I'm going to beat Robbie again - said the 38-year-old fighter.

Nick Diaz will be looking for his first win since October 2011, when he beat BJ Penn by decision. His last performance was in January 2015, against Anderson Silva. The former middleweight champion won by decision, but then the result became a "no contest" after both tested positive in an anti-doping test. Since then, Nick Diaz has never returned to the cage.
