Conor McGregor blasts Daniel Cormier and accuses him of working drunk: "Regrettable"
The Irishman, who is recovering from an ankle injury, used his Twitter account to blast the former heavyweight champion, who works as a UFC commentator.
In recovery from the injury suffered in the defeat against Dustin Poirier, in July, at UFC 264, Conor McGregor took advantage of free time, on Thursday, to detonate Daniel Cormier, former heavyweight champion and current commentator of the Ultimate.
The Irishman - who deleted the posts in the sequence - accused the American of working drunk during the week of the 264th edition, held in Las Vegas (USA).
- Cormier is a giant mess, he is getting every day in a worse condition. God bless him. He showed up drunk at press events the day before he was in the commentary booth for the greatest fight in history. It is punishable to be drunk in the press conference a day before the fight. Terrible. Burping into the microphone at a press activity. What the hell is this? Is this guy serious? Shameful.´
McGregor did not skimp on words and even recalled Jon Jones' victory over Daniel Cormier at UFC 214 on July 29, 2017, by technical knockout. The triumph, however, was turned into a "No Contest" (no result) after "Bones" fell for anti-doping.
- These are psychological situations as well. His lifestyle and his weight are terrible. And now he works drunk before commenting on an event with McGregor? Regrettable. Congratulations, Jon Jones, on the anniversary of your head kick that knocked out Cormier. Good always beats evil? I didn't know you were evil. False.
